This small collection of letters was assembled by Benjamin W.
Austin, often functioning as secretary of the Trinity Historical
Society in Dallas, Texas, 1885-1894. The letters are from physicians,
several of them eclectic or homeopathic, accepting honorary
or non resident membership in the society and responding to
Austin's request for autographs, photographs, and pamphlets.

George Joseph Hermann was born in 1873 in Newport, Kentucky, and graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in 1894. In April 1895, he set up his own practice in Newport, Kentucky. Hermann operated as the general physician for Newport, and later served on the Board of Trustees for Speers Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and taught anatomy at the Nurses’ Training School of Speers Hospital. statements sent by five homeopathic physicians in the Champaign
and Urbana area to J. W. Porter, 1877-1897. The physicians

Jefferson Medical College, 1831, and financial records, 1834-1866,
from his Glassboro practice. These financial records consist
